VIRTUALISATION

Business processes, contact centers, office suites, Web Applicatons, etc. - IT equipment suppliers generally offer “all-in-one” solutions which integrate applications and infrastructure based on a breakdown of the company’s activities into silos
(generally from different vendors and sometime managed by different teams).
Yet today, everyone understands that this exponential growth in products and middlemen, whether internal or external, generates operational costs which are more and more incompatible with economic competitiveness. This is notably the case for company downsizings, mergers and acquisitions. Over 80% of IT budgets are dedicated to the OPEX. Reducing this financial burden has become the principal challenge over the next 10 years.
To tackle this challenge, the industry first focused on consolidating data centres, but today there is a significant breakthrough in the industry : VIRTUAL IT.
VIRTUAL IT is the the introduction of an “abstraction / virtualisation layer” between users and systems.
Such strategic IT innovation offers numerous advantages:
• applications change in real-time and the time required for handling technical issues such as migrations or upgrades goes from a few months to a few minutes: all company staff therefore always have a coherent and optimal version of IT tools;
• calculation speed and data storage capacity can be organised on-demand, in real-time and without price increases based on the fluctuation of the company’s needs;
• return on investment for IT equipment is increased because the tools are always 100% operational;
• data backup and restoration is systematic, automatic and retroactive based on the client’s specific wishes;
• IT resources are allocated based on actual needs and not averages and estimates while equipment purchasing is carried out only when necessary;
• not being affiliated with IT manufacturers allows us to make choices which are first and foremost based on the company’s best interests.
